Open the file that you downloaded for this lesson and complete the following:

  1. Click on the File tab and look at all the options that you can choose from.
  2. Go to the Home ribbon tab and see if you can find the Number group. Hover over the commands in the Number group to see all the available options.
  3. Do the same in the Font group. See whether you can change the font of the name Nancy in cell A2.
  4. Click on cell E5 and look at the formula in die formula bar.
  5. Check whether the name of the cell (E5) is displayed in the name box.
  6. Click on the name of column B and look how Excel is selecting the entire column.
  7. Click on any other cell so that column B is no longer selected.
  8. Use the shortcut Control and the down arrow to move to the last row of the worksheet.
  9. Use the shortcut Control and the right arrow to move to the last column of the worksheet.
  10. Now use a shortcut to move back to cell A1.
  11. Save the file in your folder for this lesson.
